So we splurged and got a new Canon SLR! Shane's new job has allowed us to have a money jar, he gets what I call "tips" each day according to his sales. So we saved up and got a Rebel! Here are a few pics we took. We just got it, but we are already in love!!!

And the Winner is...
Best Actress:
Kaylee Pack
Our little drama queen is always pulling some face or goofy smile that just cracks us up. Not to mention the fake staccato cry and eye roll. WOW we're in trouble! Most Fashionable:
Kennady Pack
The fact is that she poops or barfs out of two and sometimes even three outfits in a day! Unbelievable. So we look at this as Kennady letting us know she simply enjoys showing off her style. What better way to show the world every outfit you own! Most Entertaining:
Kaylee Pack
Sorry Kennady, but right now this isn't even a competition. Although your almost smile stage is amazing your sister takes the cake. She takes every opportunity to ham it up whether that be by dancing, singing or stunning us with a insightful thought.
Kennady Pack
Whether its sleeping over a boppy, being stuffed into your car seat for the tenth time that day or being squished, pinched, smashed or aggressively kissed by your big sister you do it with ease. You are a trooper my dear.

Kaylee Pack
Who else could make a toddler in a baby swing & carrier, a green bruised noggin, a poor attempt at a double stroller or an apron look SO darling!
Kaylee AND Kennady Pack...DUH!!
Of course this is a tie. I have been truly blessed with two gorgeous little girls. Kaylee you are so beautiful inside and out. Your little personality is so sweet and pure. Kennady we watch you grow and change everyday into such an amazing little person. We love you both!

Reunion
The other day our good friends the Butlers came by to see us. They use to live right down the way from us until they moved. We haven't seen them since December, right before Brooke had her little boy! We were excited to reunite Abby & Kaylee and meet the newest addition little Bracken. It was so good seeing you guys! The girls were a little shy at first, but took no time before they were back to normal and so happy to see one another.

All About My First Baby
I wanted to remember everything about my first little one since now we are on number two!! Crazy how time flies!
And yes Alexis I did copy this off your blog and I was going to leave it just the way it was, same answers and pictures, but I thought people might figure out it wasn't Kaylee....who knows maybe not, but I changed it just to be sure :)
2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME?: Yep, we had just celebrated our 2 year anniversary!
3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS?: Shane was just grinning ear to ear like an idiot and for the first few minutes my eyes were like a deer caught in the headlights! Somehow it ended with Shane having to run to WallyWorld to buy 3 more tests to "make sure," ( I was in major denial). After the 4th test, mind you I still couldn't say the word pregnant for a few days, but I was getting excited and Shane started talking in his scary low voice to my belly right away telling the baby to either have a penis or grow one!5. HOW OLD WERE YOU?: 22
6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT?:
7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST?: Katie. Sorry Mom! So I texted her with;
ME: "Hey what if you marry "Bob" (names have been changed because he was an idiot) and I was pregnant."
KATIE: "haha you're random."
ME: "What if I wasn't so random and you understood what I was saying."
I then got a phone call with a lot of yelling and excited screaming!
8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX?: Heck Yes!! We are both too impatient to wait 9 months!9. DUE DATE?: June 6, 2007
10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS?: Yea, but I never threw up. I just always felt so nauseous almost like car sickness. I guess it was nice not to be throwing up a lot, but sometimes I wish I could just so I could have some relief. It really wasn't that bad though. I was pretty blessed!
11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE?: Spicy Dill pickles
12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST?: I can't totally remember. I was substitute teaching when I was 8 months pregnant and let me tell you how irritating high school boys were...well any boys I substitute taught for that matter. It also irritated me to get dressed because I NEVER felt cute!
13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX?: GIRL duh
14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING?: Not really because I only have one brother so I don't know what to do with boys. I thought Shane might be a little sad because he had said since the beginning that he wanted a boy but he was SO excited to find out we were having a girl!
15. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN?: Honestly like 35 pounds
16. DID YOU HAVE BABY SHOWERS?: YES :) I had one in Utah when my family came up for Spring break with family and friends. It was so nice! Then I had a shower and a blessing shower (or something like that-I don't remember the name) planned in Sacramento, but instead I ended up having Kaylee 3 weeks early....so we had an open house shower with Kaylee a month after!17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW?: I knew about all of them
19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH?: The GHETTO...I mean Oakland California at Highland Hospital.
20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR?: It felt like 5 years! My water broke at midnight and I had Kaylee at 3:17 pm. It was NOT something I like to remember because I have put it in the books as "horrible-not likely to happen again-rare!" Although everything went weird and Kaylee was rushed to the NICU and we didn't get to see her for like 3 hours let alone hold her until the next day we have a beautiful, happy and HEALTHY little girl now so it all worked out for the best in the end.
22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH?: Shane and my mom
23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION?: Natural
24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN?: I had an epidural but it ran out. So they gave me another one but I had shooting pains down my left side that never went away and felt pretty much everything....so yes on drugs, no on the easing part.
25. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH?: 7 lbs 13 oz
26. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN?: May 16, 2007
28. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY?: Our little peanut is 21 months old!! I can't believe she is almost 2!

More videos for Grandma
ALSO
Kaylee trying to figure out how to feed her baby doll without pulling up her shirt.
*I only got the last little bit but she contemplated for a good 2-3 minutes
after I refused to "fix it Kaylee's shirt"
(which meant unhook my onsie so I can pull my shirt up)

My Life be like....
ohhh waaa ohhh. That dumb song has been in my head...thanks Katie!Anyways... so we've been having some nice weather off and on here and so Kaylee and I have been able to go outside a little bit. Kaylee loves coloring with chalk (or just holding it, running around with it, getting it all over herself and MAYBE putting one line on the sidewalk!) haha its been fun! She has also been RE-introduced to her swing that she didn't really like as a baby but now loves since her sister is in it :) She also says EVERYTHING. She is our little parrot. What you say, she says....and I've learned that the hard way. She told me the other morning, "Mommy 'ome on, Kealy hungy affles." And earlier in the tub one day after I asked her to clean up her toys she said, "No, mommy neam up Kealys toys." YEA! So we really can't use the "we can't understand what you are saying" excuse. She makes it pretty clear and we love it. We are truly amazed everyday by her! Thats our Kaylee!
