HELP

Kaylee likes to grind her teeth together. It makes the most terrible noise plus I think she's chipped her front tooth doing it. We spank her little mouth when she does it but she just laughs. She doesn't get that we don't want her to do it and even when I am coming towards her telling her no she laughs.
I have no clue what to do to make her understand its bad and to stop. Any Suggestions?

Messy Miss

Not to make this one of those blogs that gets added to everyday, but I think a few blogworthy things have happened in our family's life (and by family, I mean Kaylee) since Shara's post yesterday. We really should just rename this blog Kaylee Christine.

Shara's Aunt Linda bought our little queen a baby doll yesterday at Ross. I'll be honest here; I didn't think that Kaylee would really get it right away. I figured she would probably like the doll, and probably play with it for a second and then forget it. Anyway, here are the pictures...




And who doesn't love pictures of kids covered in Dinner? I kinda felt bad because she ended up with spaghetti in her eyes. Ah well. At least she ate.

A New Side of Kaylee

Kaylee and I have been going to the pool lately. She loves to swim and is SO happy to be in the water! I just love to see her crawling around and splashing. Its so fun to see her adventurous side!
HOWEVER Kaylee has also started getting a little feisty and showing her stubborn side! (just like her daddy-haha) For example we had a mix up the other night (aka Shane didn't really listen :) ) so Kaylee had to ride in a big seat that LUCKILY happened to be in my grandpa's car. She was NOT to thrilled about this idea as you can see! She's a LITTLE diva what can I say!

Lately she also enjoys crawling and playing in her car seat. Go figure. They hate when YOU put them in it but if its there idea its magnificent :) The other day I wasn't feeling too hot and was a little dazed on the couch when all the sudden I realized where is Kaylee. I jumped up kind of panicked and look around the side of the couch and saw this!

What a turkey! I almost have a heart attack and she's just relaxing! Oh Good times here at the Pack's!

Getting Close!

Kaylee is starting to take steps! She stands alone all the time until she realizes what she's doing and gets too excited. Anytime we try to make her walk to us or anyone she gets way too excited then starts what we call her drunk walk. Its just all over the place too crazy to go in a straight line kind of walk!
Lately though we've been making her stand up and walk to us. She takes about 2-3 steps each time and this seems like no big deal but we are SUPER EXCITED!
She even got from squat to standing position yesterday! YEAH!
I am not too excited to chase her around more than I do now, but it is so fun to watch her grow and learn new things.
Little Miss has also started playing Peek-a-boo. It is so funny because most the time she'll cover one eye then move it quick and laugh. Its not quite there yet but its a start :)

Happy Papa's Day!

We are sending love to ALL the dad's today! It is only Shane's second father's day of so many to come.
Kaylee (and me too) wanted to let her daddy know how much we love him. He is a wonderful Daddy. Dada was Kaylee's first word and she hasn't stopped since. She is obsessed with her daddy and we have 10 billion pictures to prove it!
To my dad, Happy Father's Day pops. Thanks for not killing me when I was a teenager :) and thank you for all you have done and continue to do for us.
To Papa Pack. We love you and are grateful for the wonderful dad you are. Thank you for everything! We love you!

Our Awesome Vacation

Every Year since I can remember my dads family has gone to San Diego for a week in May. There is good food, fun family time and beach/pool all day everyday! It is the best! This year was our first with little Kaylee and although it was a little different we had a blast! Thanks Shepherd family for providing such a fun family tradition! We love you all so much!
