My Hubby

What is his full name? Shane Christopher "Sweet Cheeks" Pack

How long have you been married? 3 1/2 years

How long did you date? Um met in September, HE said he loved me in November, engaged in March and married in August..so however long that is :)

What do you love most about him? He is such a great husband and daddy. He does a lot for us. He is kind and funny and talented and muscle-y and smart and driven (at times) and DANG HOT!!

What did you notice about him when you met? Well honestly that he had tons of Dr. Pepper cans in his apartment so our love of DP brought us together initially. Then it would have to be his smile! *Plus he has the cutest butt!

Who eats more sweets? I admit I do. He eats like a little bird!

Who said "I love you" first? hahaha I say he does and he says I do....(I think it might have been me :)

How old is he? 26

Who is taller? He is!

Who is smarter? Well considering he is Texan....jokes. We're both pretty smart (and very equally stubborn) so I am not sure how to answer this one.

Who can sing better? I'm not sure because the little punk refuses to sing for me. I've heard him when we sing together and stuff and its lovely, but will he serenade me...NO!

Who does the laundry? I do but Shane helps sometimes...

Who pays the bills? ME!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Shane does now but somehow no matter what side we sleep on we end up facing away from each other!

Who mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn so we don't have that problem right now.

Who cooks dinner? We take turns. I cook sometimes and then so does Shane. I am pretty lucky because my husband is an AMAZING cook! YUM!!

Who drives? Shane. He thinks I suck at driving.

Who is more stubborn? Pretty equal!

Who kissed who first? I honestly don't remember. I just know that it was after we had been hanging out and he said goodbye at the door and then left (we were trying to take things slow) and so I got ready for bed. Well a little later I heard a knock on the door and it was Shane. Well I was in all my night-time glory. So with zit creme and retainer I went to the door and we kissed. HAHA. Thats when I KNEW he must love me.

Who asked who out? I don't remember. We just kind of hung out once, realized we liked it and then we went to a movie and from there it was down hill so...?

Who has more siblings? I do. I have 4, 1 brother & three sisters, and he has 3, 1 brother & 2 sisters.

Who wear the pants? HAHA Who do you think - ME :) I'm just kidding we try to trade off!

I'M TERRIBLE...

The other day I put Kaylee in the Little Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant. HAHA! It was quite an experience. We thought it was going to be a little different, but needless to say she won 2008 Hawaiian Tropic Queen (Girls 0-18 mo). HAHAHA Queen Kaylee! The trophy is bigger than she is. She also won prettiest eyes. All good and fun, however after the stupid registration fee and all lets just say it was the most expensive trophy ever. We might be able to someday win a real prize (MONEY) but we'd have to keep going and I'm not to sure about that! My mother-in-law Janice just laughed the whole time we were there. Good times.

OK I GIVE UP!

We had so many good pics that it was taking too long to do one at a time so here the rest. Everything from gifts for Kaylee, playing with the Timmons and our extended family, seeing the Poulton's, dancing, Katie's show, the Creamery, Bean museum, movies, bowling, shopping, yummy food, great times....you get the picture! I LOVE my family. We are SO blessed!

Sad Day when the family leaves...

My family was able to come and visit for a couple weeks. It was really nice to have them here. We did tons of fun stuff and it was just so nice to be together. Of course they enjoyed the baby most of all (we realize we're second to her) and have caused me to be forgetful of my blogging :) So here are some pictures of what we've been up to lately and all the fun we had while the fam was here!

My "fitness" Goal

My Brother gets home March 31st and my goal (as in Shara) is to get in shape aka cute and skinny :) I think I can do it. I've never been a fan of working out and such. I use to be active when I was dancing but now that I don't anymore and me having a child I need to get in gear! I've been going to the gym and to random classes that kick my butt and have already seen some nice results so wish me luck on my journey to hotness.

Shane's New Job

Shane recently in the last month got a new job at United American Insurance. He sells insurance, mainly health and loves it. He gets to wear a suit everyday and look all fancy and professional...and hot! The job is pretty flexible so we still see Shane, but he works hard to so we can live! haha! So thanks Fo Man for the referral! We love the new job!

PS Shane also got a new cell phone number so if you didn't get it let us know and we'll get it to you!

My HOME entertainment

It has been snowing so much here. YUCK! BUT at least my little munchkin is entertaining me with her funny little faces she's been making lately. What a goof! *Must get it from her dad :)

Walks

Kaylee and I went on a walk today around the block, aka I trudged over snow hills and ice and poor Kaypers was bounced senseless. Besides that she loved it and she looked SO cute. We got some great shots before we left on our rather short adventure and I couldn't resist putting them on here right away!

Our New Year's Card

We wanted to write to our family and friends,
To tell you all how we are as 2007 ends.

We started in Utah and back here we are,
It feels like we’ve spent most the year in our car.

Moving from Rexburg to Alpine to figure things out,
Then moving to Oakland on the Alarm salesman route.

We started with two and ended with three,
In Oakland we added to the Pack Family.

Our lives have been changed by Miss Kaylee Pack,
She brightens the days and keeps us on track.

We’re made great friends on our journey from here to there,
Who we’ll cherish forever for nothing can compare.

We’re now settled in Provo at least for a time,
Trying to make sense of life and doing just fine.

Although we’re at that stage where you live day by day,
Our lives have been blessed more than we can say.

So to all our dear family and our wonderful friends too,
We hope this New Year brings great things to all of you!

YEAH GIANTS

GIANTS WIN THE SUPER BOWL!

I have to admit I am not really into football and haven't watched a single game the entire season, but I was really pulling for the Giants to win. I am not a fan of the Patriots and a high school buddy of mine is on the Giants (he's injured right now). So we went over to James and Magan's killer super bowl party, ate yummy food and watched an awesome and intense game! We were SO excited when they won. It was a crazy last few minutes. So Good job Giants...sorry Alexa :)

FINALLY!

We have finished the crib! Shane worked on it for 200+ hours sanding, priming and painting MY old crib from when I was a baby. Now it is completed. We had it all painted and finished and then we realized we had NO idea how to put it together, but thanks to our superior brains (and the help of the internet) we did it. So here is the new prison, I mean sleeping area of her highness Miss Pack. Thank you Mom for the beautiful quilt and bumper pads. Kaylee LOVES it!

Shane's B-day Bash

We had a last minute little party for Mr. Shane Pack on his birthday. Janice made some yummy score cake (Thank you again), we bought some Creamies and birthday candles and invited some folks over. It was fun getting together with friends and family. Shane had a great birthday and we are both just so happy to have so many great friends and loved ones so close!

Thank you to all those who came it was so nice to see you all. Also a special thank you to Katie for the wonderful gift of the saxophone. Without it David would not have been able to grace us with that beautiful birthday accompaniment. Thank you Buzz Lightyear for joining us mere mortals to celebrate Shane's birthday and lastly thank you to those who ate one creamie and left me with a billion :) jk but really I still have tons left so come over or I'll have to eat them!
