HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE

I totally spaced to blog about Shane's birthday yesterday. I was pretty busy cleaning our house for his party, which was SO fun, and finishing his present. Anywho Shane is 27!! YEAH!
So after Shane got home from work we went to Smokehouse for some yummy BBQ and then came home to a surprise party for Shane. It was nice to have a bunch of our family and friends over to celebrate. We love ya'll!!!
Also for the past while I have been working on this book for Shane. It takes us from when we first met to Kennady. A bit of our history :) Needless to say it took me a while and I had to sacrifice some nap time and such, but it turned out great and he loved it so it was worth it!

Well even though its a day late HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! We love you tons!

So our little Kennady is THREE WEEKS OLD TODAY! What the heck. Technically she would be one day old if she would have come on time however my girls apparently can't wait to make their grand entrance into the world :) So time is a flying by here at the Pack Casa. Kennady has been somewhat of a pill at night so Shane and I have been zommbies in the morning. I think she is just way gassy or something because she just fusses and grunts all night. SO FUN!

But on a lighter and happier note I got a ponytail in Kaylee's hair!! YEAH! She looked so cute and grown up! Shane and I are literally shocked everyday at the words and full on sentences this child says. She amazes and entertains us daily. We just adore these two!

Two Weeks Old!

WOW time flies when you have two little girls. I remember with Kaylee at this point we had like 6 billion pictures and time to focus on just her. This time around we have a very dramatic and adorable 20 month old and a gorgeous 2 week old so.... our attention is definitely split :) Kennady is still changing everyday and is incredibly strong. She likes to lift her head up and look around. Kaylee still adores her sissy and has not shown any resentment towards the baby. My mom has been such a help and I am sad to see her go tomorrow, but I guess my sisters need their mom too :)I've been feeling pretty good I just know once my mom leaves its going to be an interesting transition. I also forgot how many diapers you go through with a newborn :) YIKES...haha!

SO basically the Packs are doing good. Thank you for all your love and messages! We feel so blessed!

Our Little Miss

Proof she does have eyes! Sometimes we forget that when she sleeps all day :) We are just so happy to have her off the Billibed and get to dress her! She had to be in diapers and be on that bed all day. Poor thing! So we are just so happy to see her happy and dressed!!


Kaylee wanted Sissy to lay with her in her big girl bed. She was so cute. We have to watch her a bit because she's a little rough, not on purpose, she just gets so excited.

1 Week old!

Our little Kennady is one week old TODAY! Yes it has been one magical week of life for our little girl. Highlights from the week:

-She has a big sister who absolutely ADORES her! Kaylee cries "uh oh" at ANY peep Kennady makes and runs right over to her to make sure she is ok. Whether or not the baby is ok she gets a big kiss from Kaylee.

-Kaylee playing with her new Kitchen (thanks to my Aunt Tacy) aka literally throwing every play dish she has all over the room then singing "cleam up, cleam up eh-body" BUT not really picking anything up :)
-Kennady growing right before our eyes. I guess I forgot how fast they change.
-Grandma Shepherd is here helping SO much. I have no idea what I'd do without my mom, and can't think about when she has to leave :(

SISSY!!!

So, the votes are in and after much deliberation, we decided to go with Kennady Lynn. Oh and Kaylee has been absolutely amazing with this baby so far. When we walked in the door from the hospital for the first time, she SCREAMS, "SISSY!!!! SISSY HOME!!!" It was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen in my whole life. Here are a few pictures...

Presenting...

Presenting....well, we don't really know her name for sure yet, but OUR NEW LITTLE GIRL!!! Shara had our second daughter this morning at 7:30 and both baby and mamma are happy and healthy. We are so proud of our little Shara. She did awesome, and we were very happy that
A. We were not in Oakland with gunshots firing around the corner
B. Our nurse was sweet and was not Big Momma
C. We got to hold our little girl the same day and everything took about 3 1/2 hours instead of 15.

Thats just the short list of the things I can think of that were nice about this time. Our sweet Kaylee was such cutie. She had to give 20 kisses and hugs and as she was leaving she calls back, "Bye Bye Baaby" and waves. I don't know if she understands that this baby will be living with us, but so far, she seems to be just fine with the idea.

We need ya'lls votes. We are back and forth between Kennady Rose and Claire Marie. As far as we can tell at this point it doesn't look like this kid of ours has blonde hair (if that helps you decide which way to vote), but either way we need some opinions from our friends and family on this one. So, let us know what you think!!!
