Private

I have debated this forever and have decided to cave. I'm weird and have irrational fears and now that the girls are getting older, and cute, I just decided to do it! I made a new blog and haven't decided whether to leave this blog and then use the new one as our new private blog or just make this one private. Either way give me your emails if you'd like to stay current with the Pack fam :) Thanks all!!

Visitors

Shane and I were lucky enough to have my friend Tiffany and her family come and visit. I love you so much Tiff! So Tiff, Nate and little Dax came to enjoy some Pack time and General Conference. Of course we are horrible and got NO pictures, but we had such a good time. We were able to go to Saturday Morning session of General Conference and sit in some way awesome seats, Thanks again Ryan! We had an amazing time. We also enjoyed a nice buffet, a cool park and the girls had so much fun with their new friend Dax. Kennady kept calling him Daxon. It was cute.

Tiffany and I were Bestest friends from High school and bridesmaids in each others weddings. We don't see each other enough, but when we do we jump right back in where we left off. Although we are now too old for laughing and talking until 3am, which we still did and regretted, we had a blast.

Thanks so much for coming guys. Come again anytime.

Out of the Darkness Walk

We were able to participate in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Walk this year in Salt Lake. Our family created Team Linda to walk in her memory. My cousin Darby made shirts and we gathered at Wheeler Farms for our first ever walk. I have to tell you that it broke my heart to see so many people there. To see there are so many people out there that are affected by suicide. However, events and organizations like this are there to create awareness and to help those out there who feel so alone. I encourage everyone to participate in walks like these. Create awareness, get involved, spread the word so that you will never have to feel the pain this type of thing can cause.I am grateful for the experience and am excited to walk again next year!

The Brent Event- Utah Edition

So the end of August my oldest friend (Brent was at my 3 yr old birthday) came into town with his wifey and we had a great weekend playing golf, BBQing, and catching up with Bean and Kelly and a few long lost Butlers. Even on one leg, Brent beat me up pretty good up and down the front nine at Fox Hollow.

If ya'll want the full size pictures just let me know and I'll send em over.

And anyone in the state of Texas reading this better be goin to the real Brent Event next week. I really wish we didn't live 3,o00 miles away, or my private jet wasn't in the shop or we would totally be there!

We love you Bean. Hope everything goes well this week for your big event.

Pre-School!

Yes my little girl is in Pre-School. Where does the time go? We have officially started the school train. First stop pre-school, last stop college! Even though its been hard on me little miss has been so excited to start school. She told me this morning that she was nervous. When I dropped her off she didn't even look back and when I picked her up she asked me if I was sad she was in Pre-School? haha. I told her I was only sad that she is getting so big and she smiled and said, "Yea. I am so big."
She has an amazing teacher, her bestest friend Adi in her class and is so excited to learn all she can. All I can say is that I am so truly blessed to be a mom. I feel so honored to have little Kaylee in my care and to be a stay-at-home mom able to watch her learn and grow into such an amazing person is awesome.
AND who can't resist my sweet little Kennady! She is getting SO big. She says and does everything, especially if her sister does. She is a doll and we love her so much!!

Suprise Visit

My brother Johnny and his girlfriend Amanda surprised us and came into town this weekend. Kaylee has been enthralled by Amanda since we first met her a few weeks ago and talks to her on her pretend phone all the time. Amanda is such a good sport with Kaylee and plays a great princess :) That is why when Kaylee ran upstairs to tell me that Johnny and Amanda were at our house I didn't believe her. She kept insisting so I decided to follow her downstairs just to amuse her and sure enough they were there. It was a great Surprise!
We were able to celebrate Annie's 18th birthday, take our annual (and always too long) mall trip, watch family videos and have our very first family dinner at my parents with all the kids. It was great. It only made them leaving harder, but we are so glad they were able to come and see us! Kaylee told us that her feelings were hurting because she missed Johnny and Amanda so much! Awww. Hope to see you again soon brother!
And watch out boys Annie is 18!! That is right Annie is legally an adult. We celebrated by going to dinner on her birthday then had a party with all the fam up at my parents. Happy Birthday Sister. We love you!!
