Everyone needs a little color!
Yes. We went to the Festival of Colors. In short it is an Indian celebration to welcome spring...and an excuse to have a massive chalk fight!

Farewell Elder McDonald
My cousin Spencer left yesterday to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) to serve a two year mission for the LDS church in Bangkok Thailand. *It's the same mission Halie went to :)
Kaylee was so cute. She kept telling him she'd come and find him. After we told her she would be 5 when Spencer came home she said, "I'll be so big. I can get married in the temple." Haha hold your horses there Kay. We truly do have a 2 yr old going on 25!
We are so happy for you and very proud of you Spence. You are going to be a great missionary! We will be missing you and keeping you in our prayers. God speed Elder. See ya in two years.

Christmas with the Shepherds

I know, finally you say. Christmas in California was great this year. We drove out in terrible fog and back in a blizzard, which wasn't great, but had a great time together with our entire family. There was a lot of good food, games, and family fun. Kaylee runs the show around Grandma's house. She had a fabulous time dressing up, going to the park and being the center of all attention. Shane and I were able to see good friends while we were home too. All in all it was a wonderful trip.
Highlight with Christmas with the Shepherds:
*Kaylee was ecstatic while opening her presents. So cute!
*Kennady talking SO many steps...some of her ones
*Kaylee liked Santa! He warmed his way into her heart with Ariel!
*Playing the bag game.
*Walks to the park.
*Seeing my friends. Love you girls!!
*Cody getting baptized. Congrats!

I'll say it again but Shane and I are so blessed to have wonderful family! We love you so much!

This month of love is almost over and although I didn't post all the things I love like I wanted to, and I haven't caught up on our lives I can't help to think about how blessed I am to have

Christmas with The Packs
Yes I am still not caught up on my blogging. Yes I am still only at Christmas time in Utah, but thanks to scrapblog I found an easy way to put all the pictures I want up for my post so I don't bore anyone with the two pages of pure pictures.
So Shane, the girls and I started our holidays in Utah. We were staying with the Packs, thank you so much again, since we were homeless. Nothing like being without your own place during Christmas. All those Christmas decor bargains I got last year had to sit in their boxes...so sad :( Anyhow Shane's parents were nice enough to let us invade their house for a few week and we had a great time.
After Shane finished with finals we celebrated with the ENTIRE Pack Clan. It is so fun to all get together now that everyone is all married. What a great family we have ended up with. We love you all so much!
Highlights from Christmas with the Packs:
*Seeing Santa. Kennady wasn;t sure what to think and Kaylee screamed bloody murder. Poor guy!
*Kennady climbing up and down the stairs a million times...thankfully this got her ready for the stairs in our new place so I no longer fear that she will tumble down.
* Bowling! Apparently Kaylee loves it and is quite good (with bumpers and Daddy's help)
*Seeing Kylie & Daniel. We miss them now that they are in CA.
*Picking names for gifts. It made things easy and super fun. Halie & Ryan again we loved the Date night certificate.
*Manhattan Grace coming to meet us! She made her arrival prompt and with flair :)

We had a great time....next to come Christmas with the Shepherds.
