Happy Birthday Beautiful!

Our little girl turned 3 today! We couldn't be more proud of her and the big girl she has become. We celebrated with a Princess Tea Party for her and her little girlfriends and then since there were "No boys allowed" at that event we decided to also have a Birthday BBQ for our awesome friends and family. It was so much fun and she loved it. Happy Birthday Kay! Mommy, Daddy and Kennady love you so much!

Happy Mother's Day

What a great Day. We get to celebrate the women who are amazing, loving and a big reason we are even half normal in today's world :) Happy Mother's Day Mom's. We love you and appreciate both of you so much.

--And a side note from Shane--

My little girls are the luckiest little people ever. They get to spend everyday laughing, playing, learning, and growing with my favorite person in the world. You are a great Mom, Shara. Things get crazy sometimes, but through it all, our girls know that their mom loves them more than anything in the world. Hope you have/had a good mother's day. Maybe next year you will finally get a fancy new car or expensive vacation, but for now, here is a blog entry and an
I love you. :)

Everyone needs a little color!

Yes. We went to the Festival of Colors. In short it is an Indian celebration to welcome spring...and an excuse to have a massive chalk fight!

Chalk=eyes, ears, hair, mouth (mine is still pink),everywhere!!!
Needless to say we had a blast!

Farewell Elder McDonald

My cousin Spencer left yesterday to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) to serve a two year mission for the LDS church in Bangkok Thailand. *It's the same mission Halie went to :)
Kaylee was so cute. She kept telling him she'd come and find him. After we told her she would be 5 when Spencer came home she said, "I'll be so big. I can get married in the temple." Haha hold your horses there Kay. We truly do have a 2 yr old going on 25!We are so happy for you and very proud of you Spence. You are going to be a great missionary! We will be missing you and keeping you in our prayers. God speed Elder. See ya in two years.

Christmas with the Shepherds

I know, finally you say. Christmas in California was great this year. We drove out in terrible fog and back in a blizzard, which wasn't great, but had a great time together with our entire family. There was a lot of good food, games, and family fun. Kaylee runs the show around Grandma's house. She had a fabulous time dressing up, going to the park and being the center of all attention. Shane and I were able to see good friends while we were home too. All in all it was a wonderful trip.
Highlight with Christmas with the Shepherds:
*Kaylee was ecstatic while opening her presents. So cute!
*Kennady talking SO many steps...some of her ones
*Kaylee liked Santa! He warmed his way into her heart with Ariel!
*Playing the bag game.
*Walks to the park.
*Seeing my friends. Love you girls!!
*Cody getting baptized. Congrats!

I'll say it again but Shane and I are so blessed to have wonderful family! We love you so much!
