FINALLY!

We have finished the crib! Shane worked on it for 200+ hours sanding, priming and painting MY old crib from when I was a baby. Now it is completed. We had it all painted and finished and then we realized we had NO idea how to put it together, but thanks to our superior brains (and the help of the internet) we did it. So here is the new prison, I mean sleeping area of her highness Miss Pack. Thank you Mom for the beautiful quilt and bumper pads. Kaylee LOVES it!

Shane's B-day Bash

We had a last minute little party for Mr. Shane Pack on his birthday. Janice made some yummy score cake (Thank you again), we bought some Creamies and birthday candles and invited some folks over. It was fun getting together with friends and family. Shane had a great birthday and we are both just so happy to have so many great friends and loved ones so close!

Thank you to all those who came it was so nice to see you all. Also a special thank you to Katie for the wonderful gift of the saxophone. Without it David would not have been able to grace us with that beautiful birthday accompaniment. Thank you Buzz Lightyear for joining us mere mortals to celebrate Shane's birthday and lastly thank you to those who ate one creamie and left me with a billion :) jk but really I still have tons left so come over or I'll have to eat them!

2 MONTHS!

It is two months until Elder Johnny Shepherd comes home from his mission in Culiaican Mexico!! We can't hardly wait! The time has gone by slowly quickly in that it seemed slow at the time but man you look back and can't believe its almost been two years! So Yeah Brother you come home so soon and we cannot wait to see you and for Kaylee to meet her Uncle Johnny!

SO excited to get American food

I love this picture!

A catch up...

1. We are finally home from watching my cousins.
2. We are working on breaking all of Kaylee's bad habits...
3. while also adoring all her new tricks and talents.
4. Shane has started a new job selling health insurance (and just turned 26!)
5. We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear President Hinckley, but are also very grateful for all he has done and are happy that he can now be with his wife.
6. We are trying to put together a crib that is old and has no instructions...it is a puzzle!
7. I am trying to keep up with mommyhood and my sanity while also trying to finish up random crafty projects and such.
AND LASTLY We hope you don't mind the billions of pictures and videos I am going to post with this....

This is Kaylee's Pucker face. She does it when she is mimicking a kiss or she'll she suck her lip in and leave it. It so cute!

This is Kaylee's "I'm so ready to crawl army push up."

She's pretty happy with herself!

This is how Kaylee gets around for now

Kaylee refusing to eat her vegetables. She purses her lips together and thats the end of that!

While we were watching my cousins Lizzie decided she wanted a baby Kaylee. So she fed her and changed her and even nicknamed her. It was sweet.

This is Kaylee's first bubble bath. She loved it!

Kaylee was laughing at her cousin Lizzie. It was the cutest thing ever.

This is her squint smile face when the she just wakes up and the lights come on!

THE END...for now!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Shane is 26 years old today! WOW! I know its not that old, but for us it is! Kaylee and I just wanted to let Shane know how much we love him. He is a great Daddy and an wonderful husband (and is super HOT!) haha. So Happy Birthday Baby.
Hope today is great!

Mother of 6

Well Shane and I are watching my cousins this week and it has been hard work. I went from taking care of 1 little girl to taking care of 6! My cousins are great (the oldest is 16 and the youngest is 5) but it definitely has been different for me. Big dinners with some picky eaters and crazy back roads to school. haha! I am just glad the Lord sends them one at a time :) or at least thats our deal! Thanks McDoanld kids for putting up with me.

I have been missing grown up people for sure. I have also been missing blogging. Just when I feel like I am getting ok at it then I come up here and I go back to my terrible blogger status. Sorry guys, but I do have some fun pics from this week and of course Kaylee has just been a doll. She surely has picked up some bad habits -whinning and not sleeping- but other than those she's great!! So when we get back to our casa on Sunday I will surely share with you all.

The NEW face

So little Miss Kaylee has this new scrunchy nose face. It is pretty funny. She use to do it when she was mad and now she does it when she is happy. We love it. You can see her little teeth and it shows her goofy little personality.
(ps the crown is a joke although our daughter does think she is the queen of the world- a bad habit she picked up at Grandma Shepherd's house)
